Growing up in Kelso, Tennessee, Greg began playing the piano at his church at the age of eight. Heavily influenced by Christian pianists such as Dino Kartsonakis, Greg grew to love the piano and studied it through high school and college. During college, he traveled two years with a Christian music quartet as the pianist and was heavily involved in other outreach opportuntities.
After college, Greg worked for five years as a software engineer before starting his first business in 1999. He is currently the owner of two companies that sell health supplements—Wise Choice Internet Group and Vitabase.com.
In 2003, Greg started a new business for launching his Christian piano music. He recorded Timeless Reflections at that time, a piano-only project of well-known hymns. Because of the response to that project, he released his second project, Reflections on a Journey, in 2007. This project was recorded in Nashville with the famous Nashville String Machine orchestra, which was conducted by the well-known writer, Steve Mauldin.
Greg believes strongly that his music should reflect more than just technical ability. Because his music is Christian, he believes it primarily should communicate the nature of God. He often says that his job is not to impress people-- it is to affect them in a very deep and emotional way.
Greg lives in Monroe, Georgia with his wife, Marla, and four young children. He is active at Grace Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia.
